Who can apply?

 

To participate in most of our volunteer projects in Ghana, you must be 18 or older, unless you are accompanied by a parent or guardian. 17-year-olds may volunteer in our sports education and orphanage projects with parental consent.

Once you have submitted your online application, our enrollment advisor will thoroughly review the information you have provided to find the program that best suits you. Within 24 hours, we will reach out to you to confirm whether your application has been accepted and provide you with the necessary details for your placement.

Pre-Arrival

From the moment you book your trip, you will be assigned a program manager and our coordinator who will be in constant communication with you by email and phone until arrival day.

Before your arrival to Ghana, we’ll provide a pre-arrival information packet that outlines pick-up procedures and everything you need to know for a hassle-free arrival to the volunteer house in Bortianor Accra.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ghana’s official language in English so participants on the program will need to have an intermediate to advance level of English to apply. No formal qualifications or specific experience is necessary to work in our volunteer projects in Ghana. What’s most important is that you are enthusiastic, passionate and open-minded.

When to apply?

We recommend you submit your application online at least six weeks before your intended travel date.

If you want to arrange your trip less than two months before your arrival date, we’ll probably be able to make arrangements for you. Just contact us to check availability.

When are payments made?

The first payment is made a week after submission of application, it is just an initial commitment fee of 150 Euro payment. The remainder of the program fee will be due on first day of arrival. Payment installment plans are available upon request.
